Developed and fabricated as a collaborative sculpture, 
Firetree represents our human family as one mighty tree, ​rooted firmly in the rock and soil of our garden planet.
Fire climbing within the tree, 
​symbolizes the power within our world community reaching toward extraordinary global goals.
With a touch of mystery and whimsy, 
​copper masks portray the hidden forces of Earth and Nature traveling the cosmos on four steel wheels and feathered wings.
Come touch the tree! 
​Everyone can engage, contribute, advocate, and advance the world toward a strong planet future for humanity on Earth.
Six years in the making, The Firetree Project was launched from a coffee shop conversation between two artists, Saige Baxter and Duncan MacDiarmid. On September 22, 2018, the Pittsburgh-based Society of Sculptors hosted the first Firetree Celebration in Millvale, PA. USA.​
